Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cleaned and gutted
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Five-Spice Powder
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 inch Ginger minced
  • 2 pieces Lotus Leaves soaked in water

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken, inside and out.
  4. Wrap the chicken in lotus leaves.
  5. Cover the wrapped chicken with clay.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours.
  7. Remove the clay and lotus leaves before serving.
