- 6 Eggs hard-boiled
- ½ cup Soy Sauce
- ½ cup Water
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Star Anise
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, water, sugar, star anise, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Add hard-boiled eggs to the saucepan. Simmer for 15 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even coloring.
4. Remove eggs from the sauce and let cool. Peel and serve.
