  • 2 cups Walnuts
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Boil the walnuts in water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, combine sugar, water, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the walnuts to the sugar mixture and cook until the liquid evaporates.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the walnuts until golden brown.
  5. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Let cool before serving.
