Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Glutinous Rice
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Chicken Broth
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Chinese Sausage, sliced
- 1 cup Shiitake Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 stalks Green Onions, chopped
1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. In a rice cooker, combine the rinsed rice, water, and chicken broth. Cook according to the rice cooker's instructions.
3. While the rice is cooking, heat the sesame oil in a wok over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
4. Add the Chinese sausage and shiitake mushrooms to the wok. Cook until the sausage is browned and the mushrooms are tender.
5. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the wok along with the soy sauce. Stir to combine all ingredients.
6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
