Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Black Tea Leaves
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 1 piece Star Anise
  • 1 piece Orange Peel

Instructions 

  1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove eggs and gently crack the shells.
  3. In the same pot, add water, soy sauce, tea leaves, cinnamon, star anise, and orange peel.
  4. Place the eggs back into the pot and simmer for 1 hour.
  5. Let the eggs sit in the liquid for a few hours or overnight for a stronger flavor.
