Jian Bing Chinese Crepes Recipe
A popular Chinese street food, Jian Bing are savory crepes filled with egg, scallions, cilantro, and a crispy wonton wrapper.

Crepe Batter
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ¾ cup Water
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 large Egg beaten
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Filling
- 4 large Eggs beaten
- ½ cup Scallions chopped
- ½ cup Cilantro chopped
- 4 pieces Crispy wonton wrappers
- 2 tablespoon Hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoon Chili sauce
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, water, milk, beaten egg, and salt until smooth.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
Pour a ladle of batter into the pan, swirling to create a thin crepe.
Crack an egg onto the crepe, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle with scallions and cilantro.
Place a crispy wonton wrapper in the center, then fold the crepe over it.
Spread hoisin and chili sauce on top, then fold the crepe into a square. Serve hot.
