Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Flank steak sliced thinly against the grain
  • ¼ cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger minced
  • ½ cup Soy sauce
  • ½ cup Water
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 stalks Green onions cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions 

  1. 1. Toss the sliced flank steak with cornstarch until evenly coated. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned and crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same wok, add the garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. 4. Add the soy sauce, water, and brown sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5. Return the beef to the wok and toss to coat in the sauce. Add the green onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve hot with steamed rice.
