Ingredients

Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk warm
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon butter softened

Filling

  • 1 cup pork floss

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Add softened butter and knead until fully incorporated. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces. Flatten each piece, place a tablespoon of pork floss in the center, and seal the edges to form a bun.
  6. 6. Place the buns on a baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. 7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. 8. Let the buns cool on a wire rack before serving.
