Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- ½ cup warm water
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
2. Add warm water and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces. Flatten each piece and place a spoonful of red bean paste in the center.
6. Pinch the edges to seal and shape into a bun. Place buns on parchment paper.
7. Let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Steam the buns for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
