- 1 cup red beans soaked overnight
- 6 cups water
- ½ cup rock sugar adjust to taste
Rinse the soaked red beans and drain.
In a pot, add the red beans and water. Bring to a boil.
Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 1 hour, or until the beans are soft.
Add rock sugar and stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
Serve hot or chilled.
