  • 1 kg Chicken cut into pieces
  • 1 cup Red Wine or Red Yeast Rice Wine
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil.
  2. 2. Add the ginger and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Add the chicken pieces and brown them on all sides.
  4. 4. Pour in the red wine or red yeast rice wine, soy sauce, and water. Add sugar and stir well.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30-40 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
