Roast Goose Recipe (Siu Ngoh)
A traditional Chinese roast goose recipe, known as Siu Ngoh.

Main Ingredients
- 1 whole goose about 10-12 pounds
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Rinse the goose inside and out and pat dry with paper towels.
3. Mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, five-spice powder, salt, and ground white pepper in a bowl.
4. Rub the mixture all over the goose, inside and out.
5. Place the goose on a rack in a roasting pan.
6. Roast in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, basting occasionally with the drippings.
7. Let the goose rest for 15 minutes before carving.
