San Bei Ji Recipe (Three Cup Chicken)
A classic Taiwanese dish made with chicken, soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken thighs, boneless and skinless cut into bite-sized pieces
- ⅓ cup Soy sauce
- ⅓ cup Rice wine
- ⅓ cup Sesame oil
- 8 cloves Garlic sliced
- 1 piece Ginger sliced
- 2 pieces Red chili optional, sliced
- 1 cup Basil leaves fresh
Heat the sesame oil in a wok over medium heat.
Add the garlic, ginger, and red chili. Stir-fry until fragrant.
Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
Pour in the soy sauce and rice wine. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Stir in the basil leaves and cook for another minute.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
