Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef slices thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Sichuan peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoon Chili bean paste
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 bunch Green onions chopped
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the wok over medium heat and toast the Sichuan peppercorns until fragrant. Set aside.
  2. 2. Add chili bean paste, garlic, and ginger to the wok. Stir-fry for a minute.
  3. 3. Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Add the beef slices and cook until just done, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Add the green onions and bean sprouts. Cook for another minute.
  6. 6. Serve hot, garnished with toasted Sichuan peppercorns.
