Ingredients

  • 500 g Pork belly cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Five-spice powder
  • 4 cups Cooked white rice

Instructions 

  1. Heat a pot over medium heat and add the pork belly. Cook until browned.
  2. Add the soy sauce, sugar, garlic, water, and five-spice powder. Stir well.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 45 minutes.
  4. Serve the braised pork over cooked white rice.
