Tangyuan Ingredients
- 200 g glutinous rice flour
- 150 ml water
- 50 g sugar
- 100 g black sesame paste
In a mixing bowl, combine the glutinous rice flour and water to form a dough.
Divide the dough into small balls, about the size of a walnut.
Flatten each ball and place a small amount of black sesame paste in the center. Wrap the dough around the filling and roll it back into a ball.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the rice balls and cook until they float to the surface, about 5-7 minutes.
Serve the tangyuan in a bowl with the cooking water or a sweet syrup.
