Main Ingredients
- 1 medium Winter Melon peeled and cubed
- ½ cup Barley rinsed
- 6 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 inch Ginger sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
1. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
2. Add the barley and cook for 20 minutes.
3. Add the cubed winter melon, ginger, and garlic. Cook for another 20-25 minutes until the barley and winter melon are tender.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
