Welcome to kabu-go.com.hk! By poking around here, checking out recipes, or clicking anything that sizzles, you’re saying “yep” to everything below. Please read it all, maybe with a snack in hand.
Who We Are
We’re Kabu-Go, a site all about bold flavors, juicy meats, and the tasty side of traditional Chinese cooking. Our goal? Share good food, make people smile, and keep ancient flavors alive without making things overly complicated. Everything here has been crafted, tested, tasted, sometimes burnt, then tested again, just for you.
The website is run by Ka Bo Cheung. That’s me! I started this after a wild cooking disaster that led to something delicious (you can read the full story on our homepage). Long story short: burned pork belly = bright idea.
What This Page Is
This page is the friendly version of legal stuff. It’s the set of rules and expectations for you (our lovely visitor) and us (the meat-loving kitchen crew). By using this website, you’re agreeing to these terms. If you’re not cool with anything here, you can leave, or email us with your questions at contact@kabu-go.com.hk.
Updates to These Terms
We like to stir things up once in a while. That means this page might change. If it does, we’ll post it here. We might not send out letters by carrier pigeon or fortune cookie, but we’ll do our best to give a heads-up when major changes happen.
We won’t make wild changes that flip everything upside down without a reason. But hey, ingredients change, and so might some wording. If you keep browsing or cooking using our site, it means you’re still cool with whatever version’s live.
Rules of the Kitchen
This site is meant to bring joy, not headaches. Here are a few simple don’ts to keep everything friendly, fair, and legal:
- Don’t copy, steal, or sell our recipes or content.
- Don’t change our recipes and then repost them as originals.
- Don’t spam, hack, upload malware, or cause technical problems.
- Don’t pretend to be someone else or post stuff that isn’t yours.
- Don’t break the law while using our site (yes, that includes weird internet laws too).
Feel free to take notes, print recipes for personal use, or share links with your foodie friends. But creating a copycat website or uploading our stuff somewhere else without asking? Not cool.
Photos, Videos & Words — Who Owns What
Most of what you see here, recipes, images, tips, stories, and videos, belongs to Kabu-Go. Sometimes we use licensed images or collaborate with others, but we make sure to do it properly.
If you submit content to us, like a recipe remix, photo of your home-cooked char siu, or a review of our meat marinade, you still own what you made. But by sending it in, you're giving us permission to repost, re-share, or use it (with credit) on our website or social channels.
We promise not to misuse your content. We won’t edit it in weird ways, claim it’s ours, or sell it.
Your Info: What We Collect & Why
We only collect what’s needed to give you a better browsing or cooking experience. This might include your name, email, or feedback if you sign up for our newsletter or leave a comment.
We use tools like Google Analytics to see what’s popular, what’s ignored, and how people are interacting with our content. No personal tracking or spying here, just recipe insights.
We do not sell your data. Ever. Meat is our thing, not data brokerage.
More details? Head to our full Privacy Policy page for the longer version.
Other Sites We Link To
Sometimes we send you off to cool tools, kitchen gear, or food blogs that we like. Once you leave Kabu-Go, their rules apply, not ours. Please check their terms and privacy stuff if you’re concerned.
Just because we link to something doesn’t mean we officially endorse it. It just means we think it’s worth a peek.
Personal Use Only
This site is built for everyday cooks, weekend warriors, and home kitchen heroes. You’re free to use our content for non-commercial reasons: family dinners, learning traditional techniques, trying new flavors. Go wild in your own kitchen!
Just don’t republish, sell, or use our content to promote products, brands, or services without our permission.
If you’re a food blogger, restaurant owner, publisher, or brand and want to collaborate, awesome! Drop us a message. We’d love to work something out.
Mistakes Happen
We do our best to double-check everything, from measurements to cooking times, but we're human, and sometimes typos sneak in like a thief in the night.
We’re not responsible if a dish turns out too salty, your chicken ends up dry, or the soy sauce measurement makes your beef too punchy. Recipes are tested, but results depend on many things: stove power, ingredient brands, weather, even your mood.
Use your judgment and adjust as needed. Always taste as you go. That’s how the pros do it.
Technical Glitches
Sometimes pages break. Or load slowly. Or crash at the worst possible moment (right when you’re ready to print that duck recipe).
We’re not liable for technical issues, website downtime, broken links, or errors that come from your device. We’re constantly improving things, but bugs do sneak in. We’ll squash them fast when we find them!
Your Responsibilities
Using this site means you’re agreeing to be respectful. To us, to other users, and to the content here. That includes:
- Being honest in comments and messages
- Giving credit when sharing
- Keeping your interactions kind
- Not misusing the site or anyone’s trust
If you create an account (maybe in the future!), you’ll be responsible for keeping your login info safe. No sharing accounts or pretending to be someone else. Keep your identity and your meat separate, please.
Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or remove your access to Kabu-Go if we believe you're violating any terms. That could be because of misuse, illegal activity, harmful content, or just plain bad behavior.
This won’t happen randomly. We’ll try to reach out first. But if something serious goes down, we may block access without warning.
Legal Bits
This site is run out of Hong Kong, and any legal stuff (disputes, claims, etc.) will be handled through the laws of Hong Kong. If you use this site from outside the region, you do so on your own terms, knowing your local laws might be different.
We’re not aiming to break anyone’s law, anywhere. Just to cook delicious meals and share the joy.
If Part Falls Off, Rest Still Stands
If some part of this Terms page is found to be unenforceable by a court or authority, everything else still counts. We’ll remove the broken bit and keep the rest intact.
